DAY 1: MAUN - BUSH CAMP » We are welcomed at Maun airport by our guide, and transferred to our camp near Maun » The first evening in the African bush is spent relaxing around the campfire under the bright stars of the southern hemisphere » Dinner DAYS 2,3: OKAVANGO AREA OF MOREMI » The channels and waterways of the Okavango Delta are explored on a mokoro excursion with lunch being enjoyed on an island » We make our way back to our camp with an afternoon game drive, taking in the changing colours of an African sunset » All meals DAYS 4,5: KHWAI AREA OF MOREMI » After breakfast, we move our camp to the Khwai flood plains, and continue to explore the ever-changing scenery of the reserve with our guide » Enjoying early morning and late afternoon game drives, we uncover the secrets of this pristine wilderness area in search of the many species of animal and birdlife that make Moremi their home » All meals DAYS 6,7,8: SAVUTE & CHOBE NATIONAL PARK » Continuing overland through the National Parks we visit the dry Savute Marsh and Savute channel, famous for its abundance of large predators » This amazing area and its waterholes are explored during our early morning and late afternoon game drives with our guide » Chobe is famous for its beautiful scenery and magnificent sunsets, with the largest elephant population in Africa living in the region » We may witness huge herds during our game drives and an unforgettable game viewing cruise on the Chobe River » All meals DAY 9: VICTORIA FALLS (ZAMBIA) » Our safari culminates at Livingstone/Victoria Falls - without doubt one of the greatest and most unforgettable spectacles in Africa » Time at leisure to enjoy the many optional activities on offer including scenic flights, micro lighting, elephant back riding, etc. and a visit to the Falls (own expense) » 1 night at The Waterfront (or similar accommodation) » Breakfast only DAY 10: VICTORIA FALLS (ZAMBIA) » The safari ends after breakfast » The itinerary will depend on local conditions Included in this safari; - 8 nights camping with camp bed, mattress, sleeping bag / roll & small pillow. all meals when camping. mineral water, botswana park fees, mokoro excursion & chobe boat cruise. 1 night hotel / lodge accommodation in livingston with breakfast.
