Zambezi Kulefu Camp, this intimate, deep in this game rich National Park, holds the key to Kiambi in the palm of its hand.

Remote and untouched, this glorious wilderness is home to a vast, diverse population of wildlife, from lion and leopard to wild dog and innumerable bird species.

Kulefu is set on a small channel of the Zambezi River, in the heart of the National Park. Accommodation is eight spacious twin bedded tented rooms on raised platforms with en-suite facilities and private verandas.

Distinctive in the style and design, Kulefu sprawls in the deep shade of towering Acacia Albida and Acacia Robusta trees, while the river gently unfolds on its doorstep. And when the sun sets, the paraffin lamps are lit one by one, and the nearby night sounds of lion and buffalo filter through. If looking for wildlife in an undiscovered, untainted environment, your search for the ultimate experience is over. You've found the far away place - Kulefu.

Bar and dining area: Large, permanent marquee tents give this spacious area a good indoor/outdoor flow, and is attractively furnished with Rhodesian teak.

No pool is available as Kulefu is located within the National Park, where no permanent structures are permitted.

Activities: Game-viewing by open 4x4 vehicle (May to December) in extremely remote areas; game-viewing by boat and canoe (January to December), birdwatching; stargazing (April to December); or relaxing on your private veranda.

Lights: There is NO electricity at Kulefu. 12-volt solar panels charging batteries. Paraffin lanterns illuminate paths and tent entrances. Water is heated by the solar panels.
