| Ivory Tree Game Lodge is situated in the north eastern region of the Pilanesberg National Park, the closest point of entry is through Bakgatla Gate. Nestled in the basin of an ancient amphitheatre divided by riverine woodlands and elephant trails lies an exclusive lodge development site. The central facility includes a stunning feature pool, bar, conference room, dinning room, boma, reception and curio shop. Situated in the Pilanesberg Reserve, access to the lodge is either by road or by air from Johannesburg. The reserve is approximately 2 hours drive from Johannesburg, guests would route via Hartebeestpoort before proceeding west along the clearly marked route. IVORY TREE GAME LODGE ROOM & SUITE TYPES: There are a total of 60 double suites located on the edges of the amphitheater basin, each features full en suite bathroom, mini bar fridges, air-conditioning, tea and coffee making facilities. Decorated in a range of earthy tones ranging from terra cottas to deep blues, the rooms have been carefully co-ordinated to ensure comfortable seating both indoors and out. The standard configuration includes two twin beds and in a limited number of rooms it is possible for to offer a king size bed. FOOD & WINE: At Ivory Tree Game Lodge there is a bar and cocktail lounge as well as a multi-tiered dining room. FACILITIES/ACTIVITIES: The main activity at Ivory Tree Game Lodge is an open vehicle safari, with emphasis on big game viewing. Guests are allocated a dedicated ranger on arrival for the duration of their stay.
