| Hlosi Game Lodge invites you to share understated luxury, to warm to true African hospitality, and find a restful intimacy in the Eastern Cape bushveld. Here elephant herds line the horizon and cheetah settle silently in the long grass. Our enthusiasm is a celebration of the African bush, of conservation, of food, of life. The Lodge is just a 40 minute drive from the Eastern Cape coastal city of Port Elizabeth in the heart of malaria-free game country adjacent to the famous Garden Route. Transfers can be arranged from the Port Elizabeth airport. This intimate lodge redefines exclusivity with four individually styled suites designed to capture the spirit of a bygone era, while providing the luxuries of contemporary lodge living. ROOM & SUITE TYPES: Luxury Double Suites (2) – King size bed, fireplace, underfloor heating, air conditioning, private verandah, mini bar, tea/coffee facilities, large en-suite bathroom with spa bath and shower, outside courtyard with shower. Luxury Twin Rooms (2) – Single bed, fireplace, underfloor heating, air conditioning, private verandah, mini bar, tea/coffee facilities, large en-suite bathroom with spa bath and shower, outside courtyard with shower. FOOD & WINE: Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner are available. Special diets can be catered to on request. FACILITIES/ACTIVITIES: – Central building with lounge and dining area with fireplace – Library with television and Internet access point – Verandahs overlooking the Eastern Cape grassland – Swimming pool – Elevated hide overlooking waterhole – Star-gazing platform – Open air boma The reserve encompasses some of the most breathtaking topographical diversity found in the region. The Bushmans River meanders through the reserve and is fed by numerous densely vegetated valleys. The intermittent plains provide ideal cheetah country and it is easy to see why with numerous antelope species in abundance. The reserve and Hlosi Game Lodge is home to lions, brown hyena, spotted hyena, rhino, buffalo, elephant, cheetah and over 14 species of antelope. |
