| Chitabe Camp is a luxurious 8-roomed tented camp built on one of the most beautiful islands in the Okavango Delta, in a private area which is bordered on three sides by the Moremi Game Reserve. The camp is located in a diverse area incorporating mopang woodlands, acacia, floodplains and the perennial delta, all of which provide a variety of wildlife. Chitabe consists of 8 spacious East African style tents that are built on elevated wooden decks, beneath the lush tree canopy. Each tented room has en-suite facilities with flush toilets, a shower and basin with hot and cold running water. The thatched dining area, lounge and pub are also raised on decks overlooking the surrounding flood plains, and a pool allows guests to cool off from the heat of the day. |

| Activities at Chitabe consist of day and night game drives in open 4x4 vehicles accompanied by an experienced guide, as well as nature walks. Game viewing is good, and includes Buffalo, Elephant, Lion, Leopard, Cheetah, Reedbuck, Lechwe, Impala, Zebra and Hippo. Wild Dogs occur in the area. Access into Chitabe is only by aircraft. Chitabe Tent details: · All canvas, Meru style luxury-safari tents on raised decks · En-suite facilities within tent · Additional outdoor showers and outdoor sitting area on raised platforms, overlooking floodplains · Door entrances · Fans in all guest tents · Mosquito nets in all Chitabe tents · Soaps, shampoos and insect repellents are supplied in each tent Chitabe Camp Description: · On raised wooden platforms & walkways linking thatched communal area with tents · Evening campfire · Superb site · Plunge pool at Chitabe · Slide projector available · Curio Shop · Dinners under the stars (traditional Kgotla style) - weather permitting · Private vehicle on request Chitabe Activities: · Land game drives in open 4x4 Land Rovers - Chitabe has 3 x 10-seater Land Rovers each accommodating a maximum of seven guests, allowing all guests an outside seat · Night drives with spotlight · Walking Safaris are offered from Chitabe on request basis · Hides: one within walking distance from the camp · Sleep outs at the hides on request
