Set amidst the treetops of an age-old indigenous forest, Tsala is a lavish celebration of the spirit of Africa a luxury Garden Route Lodge.
Emulating the monumental ruins of an ancient central African civilisation, the impressive stone-masonry entrance flanked by water features leads into a magnificent foyer supported by polished Blackwood columns.
Whether from the exotically appointed dining room, the intimate glassed-in lounge, or the large open decks high above the forest floor, the views are all breathtakingly beautiful, encompassing lush forests extending across rolling valleys towards distant hills.

Rooms & Suites:
Tsala Treetop Lodge has elevated walkways that lead you from the central lodge to your suite, where intimate luxury awaits you. Your private suite is warmed in winter by a cozy, ceramic fireplace, open to both the bedroom and lounge.
Tsala's huge freestanding bath tub easily fits two and on your private wooden deck is a private rim-flow plunge pool, with views across the treetops into the broad valley below.
Food & Wine:
The main restaurant building along the end of the walkway leads to the voluminous reception area, an inspirational viewpoint on arrival at the lodge, with the forest as the backdrop.
Dine al fresco style on the deck overlooking the forest where lunches and group dinners with friends can be served during good weather conditions and if you wish you may choose your own local and international wines from our world - renowned underground wine cellar.
Tsala Treetop Lodge and Hunters Country House share Spa facilities, a wide range of options are avaiable from manicures and pedicures to aromatherapy massages.
The lounge area at Tsala Treetop Lodge has become a firm favourite among the guests while enjoying a pre - cocktail drink relaxing with a book from the library or while checking e mails through the Wi fi facility located in this area. An outside deck invitingly lures the guests to peek at the cavorting Knysna Loeries, known to be very elusive.
Numerous activities in-house are avaiable, from forest trails and family activities to just relaxing in the tropical gardens or around the swimming pool. Or visit the nearby towns of Plettenberg bay and / or Knysna.
