Perfectly located in within the Sabi Sand Private Game Reserve on the wooded banks of the wildlife rich Sand River. Leadwood Lodge is exclusive and upmarket small safari lodge that cater towards those that are seeking the ultimate in privacy.

This is the perfect lodge for the entire family or a group of friends as only eight people can be accommodated at any one time. Leadwood is the ultimate when looking for solitude, serenity and privacy within one of Africa's great Wildife reserves.

Rooms & Suites:

Four lavishly appointed suites await, each one offering a wooden viewing deck, private infinity pool, a sitting room with fireplace, en-suite bathroom with indoor and outdoor showers and air-conditioning just to mention but a few of the creature comforts on offer.

Floor to ceiling glass windows provide one with uninterrupted views out over the deck and onto the Sand River and surrounding bushveld.

Food & Wine:

Fine dining in the mould of Pan African cuisine is served in either the main dining area, the open air boma around a roaring fire or out in the wilds surround by lanterns.

Afternoon teas is served in the main lodge area just before you depart on the afternoon/ early evening game drive.


From the main viewing deck or the bar area, one is always reminded that Africa is on your doorstep. A small library is on offer as is Wi-Fi, a gym and in room wellness massages


Early morning and late afternoon/ evening game drives with some of the finest guides and trackers in South Africa, it is one these drives that one gets to see and photograph Africa's legendary wildlife and birdlife.

Should you feel the need to stretch those legs then there is also leisurely walking safaris with an armed ranger on offer.

Special children's programmes are offered should the little ones accompany you to Leadwood Lodge.
