Uganda Safari

Winston Churchill called Uganda "The pearl of Africa." The country has recovered greatly from the disastrous decade of Idi Amin and is seen as a beacon of prosperity and growth in Africa. As a consequence of its lower profile, you will see some of the most spectacularly diverse and least visited national parks in Africa.

From the steamy, gorilla filled jungle in Bwindi in the south west to the savannah wilderness of Kidepo on the Sudanese border in the north, from the iconic encounter with tree climbing lions in Queen Elizabeth National Park on Lake Albert to the Lake Victoria basin, you will experience some of the most memorable safari destinations in Africa.

You can chose to fly from point to point or drive to your Uganda Safari destination. Either way, you will not be disappointed by the experience. Uganda is often combined with other destinations in Kenya or Tanzania but the Uyaphi team enjoy the more remote and "real" African experience of Uganda.

All of the below Safaris in Uganda options can be tailor-made to suite your budget and requirements.

  • 100 Years Anniversary of WW1 in Africa

  • In 2014, most of Europe, the UK, North America and the majority of the former British colonies and territories will be commemorating the 100th anniversary of the start of the First World War.
