It is situated in the Serengeti National Park, which is internationally renowned for the greatest wildlife spectacle on the planet combined with the lowest concentration of game lodges. The park is synonymous with low impact / high action game viewing in a landscape untouched since the dawn of time. Migration Camp is hidden among the rocky outcrops or 'kopies', that exudes a decadence reminiscent of old Africa. ROOM & SUITE TYPES: There are 20 Tents at Migration Camp, each with ensuite bathroom with separate shower, fan, hairdryer, private 360° verandah. The entire room is enclosed in mosquito netting. All private tents face westwards towards the Serengeti sunset and are linked by soft pathways lit by gas lamps as darkness falls. FOOD & WINE: There is a long, low-level dining area where excellent food is served, with spectacular views. FACILITIES/ACTIVITIES: Migration Camp has a lounge for unwinding, a bar and swimming pool for those hot dry days. There is also a sundeck with views over the plains and a gift shop for souvenirs |
