| The abundance of African wildlife is breath taking - On your safari, view zebra, eland and giraffe as well as some of the highest densities of cheetah in Africa, huge prides of lion and solitary leopards. Grumeti River Camp has some exciting activities on offer. ROOM & SUITE TYPES: Safari guests at Grumeti River Camp can enjoy flamboyant tents under thatch. The vibrancy of kente cloth and local sculptured furnishings, bring the excitement and romance of Africa to life. Each of the 10 spacious twin-bedded tents, complete with en-suite bathrooms (comprising shower, sculptured basin and w/c), lies along the banks of the river and hippo pools. The ragged thatch canopy lends coolness and solidity to these fantastical safari tents whilst still affording the thrill of the tented safari after retiring at the end of a starlit banquet, where stories were shared of the day's game sightings and guests' wide-eyed experience of the exhilaration of wild Africa.
