What better way to combat the winter weather than to embrace it? The chilly winds and low lying clouds conjure up all sorts of romantic images: snuggling up in front of a crackling fire, steamy hot chocolate, a brisk walk with the chill against your cheek and fall-off-the-bone tender oxtail. This is Tintswalo's winter tonic, and to make it that much easier - on the imagination and on the pocket - Tintswalo has put together a not to be missed two-night minimum stay, whether it's a mid-week escape or a weekend getaway.

Day One
A relaxed early afternoon check-in includes champagne on arrival, personal orientation around the lodge and an opportunity to settle into the warmth of your suite. The afternoon can be spent watching DVD's of your choice (we will make sure we have what you want to watch before you arrive) or reading your favourite book in front the fire (we'll even get the book for you!). Our bottomless speciality hot chocolate menu will soothe you into the mood, and we'll keep your suite stocked with freshly popped buttered popcorn, marshmallows and sweets. Afternoon tea will be served in your suite, should you wish, and a hearty wholesome dinner will end the day. A beautiful turndown complete with personalised Tintswalo linen pajamas are also part of the winter-warmer package.

Day Two
Coffee and pastries will be served in-suite when you wake up, followed by an optional morning walk to get rid of the cobwebs. Brunch will be served instead of breakfast, after which cosy sleeps and an hour-long complimentary spa treatment - in your suite or in the Zazispa - will be arranged. Afternoon tea - in a lodge spot of your choice - a romantic dinner will complete day two.

Day Three
A breakfast spread of note will complete the indulgence and an 11am checkout will allow you to take stock of your two-day treat.

The special rate of R3434.00 per person per night (minimum two night stay required) includes:

• accommodation, wine and water with all meals and welcome drinks, as well as breakfast, brunch, afternoon teas, dinners, turn downs, room service, guided walks, personalised linen pajamas, dvd's and a full body massage. It excludes mini-bar, curio purchases and additional spa treatments.
