Days 1 - 3: Cape Town
- On arrival at Cape Town International Airport, pick up your rental car and self drive to your hotel of choice (optional airport transfer and get your rental car delivered to your hotel).
- The following few days are at your complete leisure, explore the area, shop or simple just relax the choice is yours.

Days 4 - 5: Franschhoek
- A short 1 hour drive from Cape Town to Franschhoek awaits.
- It is from your base in Franschhoek that one gets to taste some of the finest wines in Africa (if not the world).
- Over the next few days explore all that this area has to offer;

Day 6: Swellendam
- Leaving Franschhoek a scenic three hour drive awaits with mountain passes and and small towns along the way.
- Swellendam is South Africa's 4th oldest town offering loads of character, good restaurants and historic walks.
- Spend the afternoon at your leisure;

-     Marloth Nature Reserve
-     Swellendam Hiking Trail

Days 7 - 8: Hermanus
- Departing Swellendam it is highly recommended that you travel due South to the very Southern tip of Africa.
- From Agulhas to Hermanus is a relatively short drive, lots of photo opportunities abound on this section of road.
- Hermanus is world famous for her whale watching, in fact rated the best land based whale watching in the world by TripAdvisor.
- The next few days are at your leisure;
-     Whale watching (in season), land or boat based options available
-     Wine tasting
-     Sight seeing
-     Visit the Southern most tip of Africa
-     Shopping and craft markets
-     Kayaking on sea
-     Great white shark cage diving or viewing

Day 9: Safari ends
- From Hermanus back to Cape Town is roughly three hours.
- But please allow for plenty of time as this is one scenic part of South Africa.
- NOTE; The penguin colony at Betty's Bay is well worth the stop.
