The original Franschhoek Country House offers 14 well-equipped rooms including six standard rooms, five luxury rooms and two cottages - all designed with your comfort in mind offering charming accommodation and expected services to invite you to relax and unwind. All en-suite rooms are individually appointed and have comfortable, lush duvets with embroidered percale cotton linen.
All rooms include en-suite bathrooms, direct dial telephone, mini-bar, tea and coffee making facilities and air-conditioning and most rooms have private balconies.
A laundry service and room service is also available to guests.
Cuisine and Wine
The famous Monneaux Restaurant ranks among South Africa's top restaurants and serves an inspired contemporary take on the classics. Lunch is enjoyed on the fountain terrace under a spreading pepper tree while dinner is enjoyed in the elegant but relaxed dining room in the original manor house.
Set on the original site of Franschhoek's first perfumery, today its the heavenly scent of chef Adrian Buchanans cooking that inspires at the Monneaux Restaurant, a Cape culinary classic.
