The nautical theme of the Commodore Hotel Cape Town blends perfectly with the surrounding harbour. The hotel is a mere 3 minutes walk from the entrance to the V&A Waterfront and the Two Oceans Aquarium.
The 4 star Commodore is popular couples, small groups and families (as well as the business traveller).
Rooms & Suites:
The Commodore Hotel offers up 236 rooms with all the amenities that one would expect. Exceptionally comfortable beds with en-suites bathrooms are standard across the board.
Our personal favourites are the 10 first class suites that come with a spacious lounge and a dining area all the while offering good views of Cape Town's city centre and Table Mountain.
Food & Wine:
The in-house "Clipper restaurant" is based around a maritime theme in terms of decor and menu, there is an extensive wine selection on offer.
A large and delicious buffet (both hot and cold) breakfast is served up every morning in the "Clipper restaurant".
The Commodore offers offers a gym for those that need to work off the few extra pounds gained whilst on holiday or simply those of us that need exercise daily.
The gym overlooks sparkling swimming pool that is surrounded by beck chairs for those lazy hot summer days.
On the corporate front a secretarial service is available on request as are meeting rooms.
A short and brief selection of Restaurants in Cape Town that we at Uyaphi.com love to visit. These are not tourist traps and we have not been paid to feature any on these establishments! Good service, good prices, great food and a dinning experience that is slightly different is what we look for.
