Timbavati Self Drive SafariSAFARI HIGHLIGHTS:A six day safari to without a doubt one of the best private games reserves in Africa, this being the famous Timbavati as well the the Mpumalanga Scenic route. Safari rates are in South African Rands *Rates may vary according to season CONTACT US FOR A FREE QUOTATION Flights (return); UK - RSA; from £ 515 USA - RSA; from $ 1200 EUR - RSA; from € 653 Subject to availability & T&C's Days 1-3: Timbavati Game Reserve » We offer two options as to where you can fly into; - Johannesburg International Airport - Hoedspruit Airport (this option significantly cuts down driving time) » On arrival at Johannesburg International Airport or Hoedspruit Airport, pick up your rental car and self drive to the Timbavati Game Reserve or surround reserves. » Estimated traveling time from Johannesburg: ± 6 hours (traveling at speed limits, no sight seeing). » Estimated traveling time from Hoedspruit Airport: ± 40 minutes (traveling at speed limits, no sight seeing). » Arrive at your chosen lodge and should time allow depart on a late afternoon game drive. » The next few days are spent viewing, photographing and experiencing the wonders of the Sabi Sand Game Reserve. » Optional spa treatments if available at chosen lodge. » Timbavati Game Reserve where one can expect the wildlife to be relatively dense with good sightings and with the bonus vehicles numbers are kept low and there are no fences separating the Reserve from the Kruger National Park.
