DAY 1: KRUGER NATIONAL PARK SOUTH AFRICA
» Departing Johannesburg we make our way to the Kruger National Park
» Upon entering the Park, we begin our search for the many species of wildlife that inhabit this area
» This Park is home to a wide diversity of animals including Africa's "Big Five" Our game drive takes us to our campsite, where we board an open safari vehicle and head out on an exciting night drive
» Evening to be spent camping within Kruger
» (Dinner)

DAY 2: KRUGER NATIONAL PARK SOUTH AFRICA
» An early morning game drive takes us along some of the best game drive routes that Kruger has to offer
» Sunrise at a waterhole offers scenes straight out of National Geographic
» The entire day is spent game viewing at the various waterhole's en route to our next camp
» Evening to be spent relaxing around the campfire
» (Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner)

DAY 3: PANORAMIC ROUTE/NYANI SOUTH AFRICA
» After our last game drive in Kruger before head up the Drakensberg Escarpment and spend the day visiting the scenic sights along the panoramic route: Gods Window, Bourkes Luck Potholes and the magnificent Blyde River Canyon
» From here we journey on to a Shangaan Tribal Village where a guided tour gives us an insight into the culture and traditions of the local Shangaan people
» We enjoy an exciting evening of tribal dancing, singing and tasting of traditional African food
» Overnight in traditional huts
» (Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner)

DAY 4: MAKOPANE SOUTH AFRICA
» We depart the village after breakfast and head towards the town of Makopane where we overnight en-route to Botswana
» (Breakfast and Dinner)

DAY 5: NATA BOTSWANA
» Leaving South Africa, we cross into Botswana
» This vast, thinly populated country is one of Africa's economic success stories due to its mineral wealth
» After changing money into local currency, we continue to Nata where we camp on the edge of the Makgadikgadi Pans
» (Breakfast and Dinner)

DAY 6: LIVINGSTONE (VICTORIA FALLS) ZAMBIA
» Rising early, we head through the Chobe District, where it is common to see migratory elephants along the roadside
» We then cross into Zambia. Arriving in Livingstone, we visit the world famous Victoria Falls
» We end our day on a sunset cruise on the mighty Zambezi taking in the natural beauty that this area is famed for
» Evening spent camping on the banks of the Zambezi
» (Breakfast and Dinner)

DAYS 7,8: LIVINGSTONE ZAMBIA
» Livingstone is the adrenaline capital of Africa and over the next two days, we have the opportunity to take part in some of the exciting activities on offer
» (Day 7 Breakfast and Dinner)(Day 8 Dinner)

DAYS 9,10,11: SOUTH LUANGWA NAT. PARK OR KARIBA ZAMBIA
Kindly note that this part of the trip varies according to seasonal changes
Rainy Season:
» We depart Livingstone and head for the western shores of Lake Kariba, our base for the next few evenings
» Kariba is one of the largest man made Lakes in the world and offers a wide diversity of Flora, Fauna and varied bird life
» Here we have the option of spending our time aboard a houseboat on Kariba or simply relaxing at our campsite taking part in the local activities on offer
» (Breakfast on day 9 if on optional activities and Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner if not taking part in optional activities)
Dry Season
» We depart Livingstone and make our way north via the capital of Lusaka, before moving along the Great East Road to our overnight camp on the Banks of the Luangwa River
» The following day, we head for the South Luangwa National Park and camp on the perimeter of the Park
» We then have the opportunity to explore this magnificent Park on open vehicle day and night drives as well as game walks
» (Breakfast on day 9 if on optional activities and Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner if not taking part in optional activities)

DAY 12: LILONGWE MALAWI
» Today we make our way into Malawi, the ‘Warm Heart of Africa’
» We travel to the Capital City of Lilongwe where we overnight
» (Breakfast and Dinner)

DAYS 13,14,15,16: LAKE MALAWI MALAWI
» Today we depart Lilongwe and journey towards the banks of Lake Malawi
» The next four days will be spent exploring the western lakeshores taking part in the various water sport activities or simply enjoying the local Malawian culture
» We travel further along the northern part of the Lake towards the Livingstonia Mountains, an area well known for great hikes and exploring the nearby craft markets

DAY 17: IRINGA TANZANIA
» After a truly relaxing couple of days, we head for Karonga and into Tanzania
» We ascend out of the Great Rift Valley through some spectacular mountain passes en route to our camp at Iringa
» (Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner)

DAY 18: MIKUMI EN ROUTE TO DAR ES SALAAM TANZANIA
» Our journey takes us through the Mikumi National Park where we have the opportunity to spot a variety of wildlife along the way
» Our journey takes us to the historical port city of Dar es Salaam
» (Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner)

DAY 19,20,21: ZANZIBAR
» We take a ferry from Dar es Salaam to the "Spice Island" of Zanzibar
» Our days are spent exploring the Island, spending time relaxing on the sandy beaches, visiting the local villages and enjoying the mystique and history of this legendary Island
» A spice tour, Stone Town with its Arabic influence and architecture and the Slave pits are all experiences not to be missed
» (Breakfast on day 19 only)

DAY 22: PANGANI TANZANIA
» We depart from Dar es Salaam and make our way to Pangani for an overnight stop
» (Lunch and Dinner)

DAY 23: ARUSHA TANZANIA
» From Pangani we travel inland along a route where we might catch a glimpse of Mt. Kilimanjaro, the highest point in Africa (weather permitting)
» We visit the Meserani Snake Park and a Masai Museum
» Arusha is the Safari Capital of Tanzania and it is here that we make preparations for a Safari Experience of a lifetime
» Evening to be spent camping in Arusha
» (Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner)

DAYS 24,25,26: SERENGETI/NGORONGORO TANZANIA
» Our time is spent taking part in the various optional Safari activities that the world famous Serengeti and Ngorongoro Crater has to offer
» These Parks offer some of the best game viewing in Africa and will certainly be an experience of a lifetime
» All excursions are conducted in vehicles specifically designed for Safaris and allow for the best photographic opportunities
» We witness the traditional Masai, herding their livestock amongst the wild game
» Clients not participating in the Safari activities have an opportunity to take in the local culture and other activities in and around Arusha
» (Breakfast on day 24 only)

DAY 27: ARUSHA TANZANIA
» We depart from the Serengeti and return to Arusha in the late afternoon
» Evening to be spent reminising about our Safari experiences around the campfire
» (Dinner)

DAY 28: NAIROBI KENYA
» After catching our final glimpse of Kilimanjaro we cross the border into Kenya and travel to Nairobi
» We spend the last evening at a local restaurant bidding our fellow travelers farewell
» (Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner at own cost)
