| Dugong Beach Lodge, set within the boundaries of The Vilanculos Coastal Wildlife Sanctuary, the first privately managed Specially Protected National Park in Mozambique is a tranquil and unspoilt paradise. The unique 'Beach and Wilderness' experience in a hidden corner of sub-tropical Africa is provided by the 30 000 hectares of pristine marine and wildlife territory. This diverse eco-system of wilderness and wetland, with its powder white beaches and crystal clear water is host to a magnificent array of fish, dolphin and very importantly, the nearly extinct 'Dugong'. Shallow and deepwater reefs reveal beautiful creatures such as the leatherback turtle, sailfish, manta ray, to name a few. |

| Dugong Beach Lodge is perched right on the edge of the beach is an idyllic setting with ten luxury tents built on raised decks in the shade of Msasa Trees with Jecka grass canopies. ROOM & SUITE TYPES: There are 10 luxuriously appointed framed tented rooms with hardwood floors, en-suite bathrooms, huge feature baths and outside showers, under thatched Jekka grass canopies. Guest rooms have two twin beds or one king-size bed and are equipped with hair-drier, fans and mosquito nets; all open onto a private patio. FOOD & WINE: The lounge and restaurant on raised Mahogany timber decks with a jetty jutting out into the protected Vilanculos Bay, afford one breath taking views of the ever-changing colours and hues of the water, whilst enjoying sea-food and local Portuguese cuisine. FACILITIES/ACTIVITIES: – Fresh water swimming pool – Boardwalk jetty with gazebo at the end – Salt Water fly fishing – Deep Sea fishing – Scuba Diving – Snorkelling – Pedal Boats – Kayaks
