Rates: From US$ 1 275.00 p/p - 2009 From US$ 1 275.00 p/p - 2010 Currency Converter  DAY 1: SOUTH LUANGWA » Meet at 08:30 in the morning, a free collection service is offered to clients in Lilongwe » Depart Lilongwe at 09:00, continue to Mchinji, 1 and 1/2 hr drive » Here we complete immigration formalities and continue to Mwami - the Zambian border, from the border it is a short drive to Chipata - Zambia's capital of the Eastern Province » Proceed on a dirt road to Luangwa Valley - Mfuwe sector » A picnic lunch is enjoyed en route and ETA at the Lodge is 2.30pm » On arrival we check into our chalets followed by tea and coffee » A gentle walk along the river is offered for those that wish » Thornicroft Lodge DAYS 2,3: SOUTH LUANGWA » After a light snack with tea & coffee we depart for a morning drive at 06:00 » All game drives are undertaken in open game viewing vehicles, to optimise your pleasure and experience » Drinks and snacks are taken along for your enjoyment whilst in the park » Depending on game sightings, we return to the lodge at 11 for a scrumptious "brunch" » An afternoon rest, swim, and tea then we again head out for our afternoon/ night drive at around 16H00 - returning to the lodge at 20:00 » Dinner » Thornicroft Lodge DAY 4: LAKE MALAWI » This morning you have a more relaxing start to the day, breakfast then pack up and return back to Lilongwe » A picnic lunch is eaten en route » From Lilongwe we continue to for 1.1/2 hrs to Lake Malawi and Senga Bay » Arrive at the Safari Beach Lodge in time for sundowners » Overnight tented camp » Dinner Bed and Breakfast » Safari Beach Lodge DAY 5: LAKE MALAWI » Relaxing at Lake Malawi » Non-motorized water sports included » Dinner Bed and Breakfast » Safari Beach Lodge DAY 6: END OF SAFARI » After breakfast, we transfer you to Lilongwe in time for your return flight or onward journey The above Luangwa and Lake Malawi rates are inclusive of: -» All transport Lilongwe return » 3 nights lodge + 2 nights tented camp » Meals as indicated » 4 game drives » All non motorized water sports Excludes » Drinks » visa fees (if applicable) » Luangwa Park entrance fees » Lunches » Motorized water sports at the lake » Booking Conditions |
