Wild frontier safariSAFARI HIGHLIGHTS:Amboseli National Park is a game park of many contrasts. The volcanic ash caused by Mt Kilimanjaro's last eruption left the park dry and dusty in certain parts with parched alkaline salt pans. On the other hand, the melting snows of Kilimanjaro flows underground to the park, continually feeding water to springs, swamps and marshes, resulting in lush green vegetation and large grassy plains. Masai Mara is Kenya's most famous and most visited game reserve. Open savannahs, rolling grasslands and undulating hills sets the scene for the splendour of the Mara. July to September sees the annual migration of wildebeests, zebras and gazelles from the plains of the Serengeti. Driven by dry conditions in the Serengeti and led by the lightning and thunder to the north, huge herds of mammals cross the Tanzanian border and rivers to reach the Mara's grasslands.

DAY 1: Amboseli National Park (adjacent) » This morning you will be collected from Jomo Kenyatta airport or your Nairobi city centre hotel and you will be transferred to Nairobi Wilson Airport for your scheduled flight to Amboseli (approximately 45 minutes). » Flight departs Nairobi at 0815hrs and arrives into Amboseli at 0855hrs. » Upon arrival, you will be met and transferred to the camp in time for lunch. » After an afternoon siesta, there is a game drive that returns to the camp as the sun sets. » Overnight at Tawi Lodge on a full board basis, and non –luxury spirits/house wine, beer, soft drinks and laundry. DAY 2: Amboseli National Park (adjacent) » Early morning, morning and afternoon game drives. » Overnight at Tawi Lodge on a full board basis, and non –luxury spirits/house wine, beer, soft drinks and laundry. DAY 3: Masai Mara National Reserve » After breakfast, you'll be transferred back to the airport for the early morning scheduled flight to Nairobi (approximately 45 minutes) to connect with the flight to Masai Mara (approximately 1hr ). » Flights departs Amboseli at 0905 and arrives into Masai Mara via Nairobi at 1100hrs. » Upon arrival, you will be met and transferred to the camp. » Following lunch and an afternoon siesta, there is a game drive that returns to the camp as the sun sets. » Overnight at Kilima Camp on a full board basis including soft drinks, beer and house wine, guided nature walks, sundowners and bush school visits.
