Day 1: Nairobi
» Upon arrival at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport, you will be met by our representative and transferred to the Jacaranda Hotel.
» Situated in the affluent Westland's District of the city, the Jacaranda is located immediately adjacent to one of Nairobi's best shopping malls, and has its own swimming pool and peaceful grounds.
» Overnight at the hotel on bed and breakfast basis.

Day 2: Samburu National Reserve
» After an early breakfast, drive north of Nairobi up the Great Rift Valley to the Samburu National Reserve arriving in time for a late lunch at the Samburu Game Lodge, a traditional Kenyan safari lodge set in extensive grounds on the banks of the Uaso Nyiro River.
» After lunch, take a game drive in the twin Samburu and Buffalo Springs Reserves, which provide one of the few sanctuaries in Kenya for the endangered Grevy's zebra, the rare beisa oryx and the blue-shanked Somali ostrich; large herds of elephant roam the gaunt hills during the day before returning to bathe on the banks of the river in the evening.

Day 3: Samburu National Reserve
» Enjoy a full day on safari in Samburu.
» A place of endless skies, dust-red plains and palm-fringed rivers, Samburu National Reserve lies on the fringes of the vast and arid desert once known as the Northern Frontier District, whose heat-scorched scrublands extend all the way to the jade-green waters of Lake Turkana and beyond.
» Physically dramatic, the 104 sq kilometre landscape of the Reserve features rocky battlements, craggy scarps, dry river beds and fallen boulders rising out of the thorn scrub against a backdrop of the far-distant hills and the great red table mountain known as Ololokwe.
» In the evening the lodge offers optional activities such as a displays of Samburu cultural dance are or a traditional sundowners.
» Dinner in the central dining room and overnight at leisure.

Day 4: Ol Pejeta conservancy
» Leave the lodge after breakfast and travel south along the flanks of Mount Kenya before entering the private game conservancy of Ol Pejeta and checking into the luxury Sweetwaters Tented Camp.
» A sheltered oasis, clustered around a water hole, and standing within the seclusion of its own private reserve, Sweetwaters offers a charming blend of under-canvas ambiance and uncompromising luxury.
» Boasting a higher wildlife-to-area ratio than any of Kenya's national parks, the camp offers unprecedented opportunities for wildlife watching, either by guided walks, camel treks, or by day and night game drives, while likely sightings include all the members of 'The Big Five' (elephant, lion, rhino, buffalo and leopard).
» After lunch, enjoy a game drive on the conservancy with the possibility of a visit to the Chimpanzee Sanctuary, the Cultural Centre and the wildlife centre.
» Returning to the camp, optional activities include a swim in the pool, a camel ride or a sundowners in the Waterhole Bar.
» Dinner is served in the central restaurant.

Day 5: Lake Nakuru National Park
» After breakfast, drive south to Lake Nakuru National Park in time for a late lunch at Lake Nakuru Lodge.
» In the afternoon enjoy your first glimpse of the Lake's fabled 1.2 million flamingos, perhaps find rhinos grazing on the lakeshore (this park is the nation's largest rhino sanctuary), and arrive back at the Lodge in time for a swim and a sumptuous buffet supper.

» Distance/drive time: 270 kms/3 hours
Day 6: Masai Mara National Reserve
» Leaving the lodge after breakfast, continue up the floor of Rift Valley to arrive at Keekorok Lodge in the famous Masai Mara National Reserve for a late lunch.
» After lunch enjoy your first game-drive in the Mara.
» World renowned for the breathtaking spectacle of 'the greatest wildlife show on earth', the awe inspiring annual migration of the wildebeest, the Mara is Kenya's most visited protected area.
» Technically an extension of Tanzania's renowned Serengeti National Park, the Mara constitutes only 4% of the entire Serengeti ecosystem but its rolling grasslands, meandering rivers and towering escarpments offer one of the world's most rewarding and evocative wildlife arenas.
» Returning to the lodge, enjoy a swim, relaxation on your private veranda, take a drink at one of the lodge's many bars and dinner in the central restaurant.

Day 7: Masai Mara National Reserve
» When it comes to game-viewing, there is nowhere in Africa richer in wildlife or more eventful in encounters than the Mara.
» A pristine wilderness of haunting beauty, it promises its visitors a profusion of wildlife, prolific bird life and the unprecedented opportunity of catching up with all the members of the 'Big Five' in one morning.
» As to scenery, the 1,800 sq kilometres of this veteran reserve offer the classic mix of African imagery; miles of lion-gold grasslands, shoals of lilac-misted hills, a meandering river, acres of thorn-bush and mile upon mile of undulating wilderness.
» Breakfast, lunch and dinner at the Keekorok Lodge.

Day 8: Safari Ends
» After breakfast at the lodge, drive to Nairobi and take lunch at the famous Carnivore Restaurant with its glowing BBQs serving all manner of meats to include ostrich, gazelle, crocodile and more (plus fish, vegetarian choices, salads etc).
» Depart for your flight home.
