» After breakfast, we leave Tarangire National Park and head in the direction of the Great Rift Valley.
» The lowlands break up and make way for the vegetation rich crater highlands.
» We enjoy the wonderful view of the Masai Plains and Lake Manyara.
» We reach our stop for the night, the spectacular Ngorongoro Crater.
» The caldera is an incredible 18 km in diameter and walls as high as 600m. Prof. Grzimek described it as the 8th wonder of the world
» The Ngorongoro Crater has often been labelled as a "Garden of Eden" as it has one of the highest mamal populations on earth.
» We overnight at the Simba campsite which is situated directly on the crater's edge and offers fantastic views.
» Breakfast; Lunch; Dinner.

Day 3: Serengeti
» We have a early breakfast before travelling down the seemingly hanging walls into the crater below.

» We depart Ngorongoro in the afternoon and travel into the endless plains of the Serengeti.
» We overnight at a campsite in the Serengeti.

Day 4: Serengeti

» Stopping at the lake, you will have the chance to see another side of Tanzania; away from the tourists and the masses, you can discover the land and the lives of the local people.
» We camp at a local campsite.
» Breakfast; Lunch; Dinner

Day 6: Masai Mara National Park
» The journey to the Masai Mara requires an early start.
» What appears to be a short distance on the map is in reality a few hours driving.

» Sightings are not dependent upon the seasons or the great migration, as the Masai Mara has plenty of wildlife all year round.
» Breakfast; Lunch; Dinner

Day 7: Masai Mara
» Today, you will have the chance to enjoy a full day of game viewing with your skilful guide.
» You will take a trip to the Mara River, the greatest hurdle for the wildebeests and zebras on their yearly trek.
» At the end of October and the beginning of November, an unbelievable scene is set; the river is swollen almost to the bursting point due to the rains and ten thousand animals must cross it.
» The wildebeests and zebras know that they need to cross the river.
» You will stay another night at a campsite (generally in September and October and depending upon the location of the great migration, you will stay three days in the Masai Mara and one day in the Serengeti).
