Currency Converter  DAY 1: » On arrival into Nairobi at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport you will be met and transferred to House of Waine » This is an 11-bedroomed boutique hotel in Karen, one of the suburbs of Nairobi » Renowned for fine decor & its quiet location, each bedroom is individually styled with Kenyan themes » The rooms have a television with satellite TV, mini bar, room safe, coffee & tea making facilities with fresh milk, fresh ground coffee and homemade pastries brought daily » Each bedroom features a large marble bathroom with plenty of natural light, most bathrooms have a separate shower and bath, and all have a complete range of toiletries, hairdryers and bathroom telephone » Within the surrounding gardens there is a heated swimming pool and poolside bar » It is closely located to the Giraffe Centre, Nairobi National Park, the elephant orphanage and arts & crafts centres » (Bed and breakfast) » Mara Safari Club DAYS 2,3,4: Meru National Park » You will be collected at 06h15 from House of Waine and transferred to Wilson Airport to catch the 08h00 Air Kenya scheduled flight to Meru National Park. » On arrival at 08h45, you will be met by a driver-guide and taken to the lodge. » Elsa's Kopje has 8 elegant open-plan 'rooms-with-a-view' plus a three tier Honeymoon Suite, and a Private House with a double and a twin room, a shared sitting room, verandah and a private swimming pool. » All rooms are uniquely designed incorporating natural features of the rocky hillside. » There is an open bar, sitting and dining room with an infinity pool. » Activities include day & night game drives, guided bush walks, bush meals, cultural visits, sundowners, fishing and massage. » This untamed wilderness is renowned for its rhino sightings and rare northern species. » (Full board) » Elsa's Kopje DAYS 5,6: Shaba National Reserve » Depart Elsa's Kopje at 10h00 on your private charter aircraft to Shaba at 10h30. » On arrival at the Chaffa airstrip, your driver/guide will meet you and transfer you to camp. » Joy's Camp has 10 chic canvas bedrooms with breathtaking views of the surrounding hills and overlooking a large natural spring. » Each sumptuous tent is uniquely decorated with Boran/Somali cloth, handmade glass and vibrant fabrics of the local tribes creating a chic, sophisticated camp. » Activities include game drives, bush meals on the Ewaso Nyiro river, cultural visits and sundowners. » The camp is ideal for private game viewing as well as relaxing, reading and soaking up the truly wild environs offered by Shaba. » (Full board) » Joy's Camp DAY 7,8,9: Masai Mara Game Reserve » After an early breakfast, you will be transferred to the airstrip for your Safarilink scheduled flight at 09h10 to the Masai Mara, which offers a true wildlife experience, hard to duplicate anywhere else in the world. » Elephant Pepper Camp, which brings you back to nature, no permanent structures, just the sights and sounds of the bush. » Day and night game drives, breakfasts out on the savannah, sundowners, bush meals, bush walks and cultural visits are all included in the rates. » (Full board) » Elephant Pepper Camp DAY 10: Adamson's Footsteps ends » Following one last game drive in the Masai Mara, you will be transferred to the airstrip to catch the 11h00 scheduled flight back to Nairobi » A driver will transfer you to your Nairobi hotel or to the International Airport for your journey home The above Adamson's Footsteps rates are inclusive of: -» Bed & Breakfast at House of Waine » Full board at all other properties » Soft drinks, beer, house wine & non-luxury spirits » Game drives in 4x4 vehicles » Guided bush walks » Scheduled flights as per itinerary » Park entrance fees » Airstrip transfers » Nairobi transfers » Limited laundry at all properties » Membership to Flying Doctors Society.
