DAY 1: AMBOSELI NATIONAL PARK
» Midmorning depart from Nairobi to Eselenkei Concession, just north of Amboseli
» Amboseli is a game park of many contrasts
» The volcanic ash caused by Mt Kilimanjaro's last eruption left the park dry and dusty in certain parts with parched alkaline salt pans
» On the other hand, the melting snows of Kilimanjaro flows underground to the park, continually feeding water to springs, swamps and marshes, resulting in lush green vegetation and large grassy plains
» Lunch and afternoon game drive

DAY 2: AMBOSELI NATIONAL PARK
» Morning game drive, afternoon walk and an evening night drive
» Because of the easy availability of water, Amboseli has always been a favorite spot for wildlife
» Leopards, lions, zebra, wildebeests, giraffes, impala, hippos, antelope, rhinos, wild dogs, hyenas, cheetah, buffalo, and more than 400 bird species including the bee-eater, kingfisher, African fish eagle, marital eagle and pygmy falcon all gather in the haven of the park

DAY 3: MASAI MARA GAME RESERVE
» Early morning game drive, transfer back to Nairobi for lunch and fly to Mara
» Late afternoon game drive en route to the camp
» Masai Mara is Kenya's most famous and most visited game reserve
» Open savannahs, rolling grasslands and undulating hills sets the scene for the splendour of the Mara
» July to September sees the annual migration of wildebeests, zebras and gazelles from the plains of the Serengeti
» Driven by dry conditions in the Serengeti and led by the lightning and thunder to the north, huge herds of mammals cross the Tanzanian border and rivers to reach the Mara's grasslands
» They are tracked by elusive predators: black-manned lions, leopards, cheetahs, and hyenas, and circled by vultures as their journey unfolds

DAY 4: MASAI MARA GAME RESERVE
