The spacious gardens and the pool terrace are perfect spots for enjoying breathtaking sunsets. The bedrooms are more than comfortable and offer the weary traveler all contemporary comforts, with views of the Atlantic Seaboard or Table Mountain. The bathrooms are all en-suite, and the bedrooms are equipped with TV/M-Net, telephones, radio, punkah fans for a cool breeze in summer, heating to keep the winter cold at bay and tea/coffee making facilities. Some rooms have Internet connections. Standard Rooms: Bedrooms with wonderful sea views and has a Queen size (153cm wide) double bed. Both the bed and bathroom have underfloor heating, while the bedroom also has a ceiling fan. The en-suite bathroom has a shower over the bath. The room also comes with complimentary sherry. Luxury Rooms: Bedrooms with wonderful sea views. This room has twin beds (2 single beds) with both the bed and bathroom having underfloor heating. The Bedroom also has a ceiling fan while the en-suite bathroom has a shower over the bath. Also included with the room - a complimentary sherry. Comfort and peace are the keynote for the whole establishment. Huijs Haerlem Guest House exudes a warm atmosphere: one lounge is furnished with exquisite Danish antique furniture, whilst the second lounge displays the South African Vernacular. Depending on the weather, sumptuous and leisurely breakfasts are served either on the pool terrace, the east facing verandah, or the dinning room. |
