| Pontac Manor Hotel, a celebrated establishment in the historic town of Paarl, The Hotel is in the heart of the Cape Winelands. Pontac Manor Hotel is surrounded by majestic oak trees and manicured gardens, the hotel has been restored to its former Victorian elegance and welcomes guests from around the globe. Original historic features in architecture and furnishing reflect an era of gracious living. Here, in a luxurious and yet homely atmosphere, first-class service and modern convenience blend with traditional style and genteel hospitality. No comfort has been spared in appointing and equipping the hotel's twenty-two individually decorated rooms. Each a living statement of simple elegance, the guest rooms are furnished in fabrics of the finest quality and feature Victorian and African furniture. All rooms are equipped with telephone, television, tea and coffee making facilities and individually controlled air-conditioning. Pontac Manor Hotel is dDecorated in individually selected fabrics and handcrafted furnishings, the nine rooms in the Manor House are a reflection of refinement and understated elegance. A particular feature of all the rooms is their extremely spacious en-suite bathrooms with under-floor heating. The Pool Annexe includes 5 double-rooms (with microwave and refrigerator), furnished in colonial style light woods and shades of blue and yellow, with Spanish Reed ceilings. All rooms with private entrance from the garden. Housed in a separate annex adjacent to the Manor House, we find two larger suites, suitable for families or for longer stays. The African Suites are decorated in Contemporary African style and feature a separate lounge and luxurious bathroom on the ground floor, with a romantic loft bedroom upstairs. For family use, the downstairs lounge can be converted into a second bedroom, with room for 2 single beds and a cot. Please enquire at reception regarding this Family Room option. The Garden Suites are decorated in Contemporary African style and feature a separate lounge and luxurious bathroom on the ground floor, with a romantic loft bedroom upstairs. The Pontac Manor Hotel Honeymoon Suite offers luxury in a romantic setting with king-size bed, Jacuzzi spa bath and private courtyard. Bedcovers are from luxurious woven silks in shades of red and autumnal colours, with a flavour of the orient. |
