All rooms are equipped with telephone, television, tea and coffee making facilities and individually controlled air-conditioning.
FOOD & WINE:
Guests at Pontac Manor enjoy a full buffet breakfast, including fresh seasonal fruit and steamed dried fruit, yoghurt, various cereals and a selection of fruit juices. Try our fresh breads with a selection of cheese and cold meats. Bacon, eggs and select mini quiches or muffinsare on the menu, too! All to be enjoyed with our delicious Pontac coffees.
The award-winning "Restaurant at Pontac" is located in the beautifully restored old barn of this historic estate. The setting on the slopes of Paarl Rock is exceptional. Patrons dine al fresco on a white-washed patio with a unique view and the relaxing burble of the Koi pond, or inside in a restaurant decorated with quirky coloured African wall hangings and ceiling drapes.
ACTIVITIES:
On warm summer days, enjoy a refreshing dip in the pool or bask by the poolside on a reclining lounger. Snacks, light meals and beverages are served throughout the day and garden or pool service is readily available upon request. Two lovely pools to choose from!
A special feature of Pontac Manor Hotel & Restaurant is the beautifully laid out gardens. The front of the manor is flanked by majestic oak trees, the veranda looks down onto a manicured rose garden in Victorian style and a classic water feature. Quiet seating areas are dotted in various locations in the gardens: here guests can relax with a book or newspaper, enjoy a peaceful moment of contemplation or a cosy chat, or order beverages to be served in the gardens.
