Situated just footsteps from Boulders Beach, home to the African Penguin, our lodge is nestled in a sheltered cove where the mountains meet the sea and exudes an atmosphere of peace and tranquility. Boulders Beach Lodge is intent is to ensure your absolute comfort to enable you to relax and delight in the surrounds of our beautiful coastline. you will be welcomed by our friendly, courteous and efficient staff who guarantee you a pleasurable stay. ROOM & SUITE TYPES: 12 En-suite bedrooms - decorated simply with a taste for the natural and unpretentious with comfortable wrought iron beds. Double or twin rooms are on offer. The bathrooms are faultless and little extras have been taken care of to accommodate your needs. The inspired restaurant provides creative and daring dishes and is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Our central terrace is the social heart of the lodge and the gravitational point of the venue due to the view of the bay. It is a look out point for passing whales and penguins watching people watch penguins. You are encouraged to slow down, switch off and breathe in the air. ACTIVITIES: For sun seeking guests Boulders Beach Lodge is a short waddle away, where you can bask like a lizard or swim at your leisure, usually in the company of one of the African Penguins that call this haven, home. Boulders Coastal Park, which forms part of the table mountain national park, is one of the few sites where this vulnerable bird can be observed at close range. the penguins can generally be found walking around the lodge and restaurant. |
