| Camp Shawu, small and intimate with only five suites, paints a picture of the 'real Africa' as described by famous explorers of colonial times. Private decks overlooking the Mpanamana Dam, present a masterpiece of an African landscape. Camp Shawu is situated in a 15,000ha private concession in the south-eastern section of the world-renowned Kruger National Park in South Africa, in the foothills of the Lebombo Mountains. A large verandah at Camp Shawu with reclining chairs and umbrella is the perfect spot from which to watch the wildlife come down to the water hole to drink. Other facilities at the main lodge consists of a lounge, indoor and outdoor dining area as well as a splash pool. Camp Shawu puts great emphasis of guests' participation in select environmental awareness programmes.
