Jock Safari Lodge is one of the very first privately owned camps situated in the world famous Kruger National Park, with exclusive traversing rights in what is regarded as the best Big Five game viewing area in the Kruger National Park. Jock 's is situated at the confluence of the Mitomeni and Biyamiti Rivers, Jock Safari Lodge offers stunning views, with the pool literally on the confluence. Each air-conditioned luxury suite is set along the rivers, offering all the luxuries yet evoking the style and romance of the past as well as the indigenous Swazi and Shangaan cultures. Game drives in open landrovers, with our professional team of game rangers, offer guests the thrill of close encounters with Africa’s BIG FIVE. And when you tire of the thrill of the African bush you can rejuvenate & refresh at the Pilgrims Rest Spa within the lodge. ROOM & SUITE TYPES: Jock Safari Lodge offers twelve Luxury air conditioned suites offer guests the unique opportunity to experience the gracious style of old world elegance surrounded by unspoilt wilderness. Each suite has a private "Sala" (outdoor lounge) that overlooks the river. The romantic bathrooms and outdoor showers share the same river view and sightings of animals, including the BIG FIVE can be seen from the comfort & privacy of your own room. Each suite has a King size bed surrounded by walk-in mosquito netting, a small lounge and twin basin bathroom. Your private terrace has its own plunge pool and a wooden walkway to a lapa overlooking the riverbed. FOOD & WINE: The African cuisine offered incorporates an abundance of flavours. The chef and his dedicated team conjure up dishes, with the primal flavours of wild game and local herbs picked from the surrounding bushveld. The cuisine is presented in a variety of locations from the elegant dining room to private dining in the suite or to a boma styled barbeque adventure under the stars.
