| Djuma Bush Lodge, located in the Djuma Game Reserve shows a softer gentler side of Africa with luxury lodge accommodation, sumptuous cuisine and all the creature comforts. The Bush Lodge building, of wood and thatch is unique in its construction and offers magnificent views of the surrounding African bush from the upper deck. The experience at Djuma Game Reserve is unique in that they do not only concentrate on the Big Five, but you can also learn about the history of the reserve and how the Tsongas once lived on the land alongside the animals. Bush Lodge is regarded as a rather special, with many guests returning time and again over the past decade years, has just eight thatched chalets tucked away in indigenous gardens, accommodating upto sixteen guests. ROOM & SUITE TYPES: There are 8 luxury thatched bedrooms, individually situated in the indigenous gardens. All en suite. All rooms have air-conditioning and ceiling fans, and mosquito nets. The bathrooms have showers, toilets and sinks. FOOD & WINE: Breakfast at Djuma Bush Lodge is a full English buffet. Lunch is a simple affair: with hot and cold dishes, and afternoon tea includes fresh bakes. Dinner is a four-course meal. Renowned chef Suzi Holtzhausen has created the menus at Djuma Bush Lodge. Sumptuous dinners are either served in the dining room or under under the night sky, around a roaring fire in the boma.
