It operates in the South East of Kruger which is well known for its renowned game viewing with frequent sightings of lion and leopards. It also combines upmarket luxury accommodation with the real safari experience in the Kruger National Park. The lodge itself is a luxurious double storey under thatch with air-conditioning and en-suite guest bedrooms. The lodge overlooks famous wildlife wilderness where each of the Big 5 have been viewed from the lodge itself. On most nights, guests are able to hear the grunting and squabbling of hippo in the river together with the roaring of lion and the eerie calling of hyena. In order to provide guests with friendly, personalized service and attention, the lodge is kept small. So you can be assured of a comfortable, memorable stay. ROOM AND SUITE TYPES: There are only five guest bedrooms, all with en-suite bathrooms with showers - 1 room available with bath. The bedrooms are elegantly furnished and equipped with mosquito screen, ceiling fans as well as air-conditioning. The two upper storey bedrooms each have their own balcony with views over the Crocodile River into the Kruger National Park. FOOD & WINE: Bushwise Safari Lodge takes pride in serving exceptional 3 course African dinners served in the boma around a campfire under the African night sky. Breakfast ia usually served early to maximize optimum game-viewing in the mornings. FACILITIES/ACTIVITIES: The lodge has an upper deck balcony/terrace with swimming pool overlooking the Kruger National Park. There is a fully stocked bar. Coffee and tea trays are available on request. The game drive takes guests into Kruger, in an open safari-vehicle, not only to seek out the Big Five but to look at all the wonders of the unique eco-system. Additional activities available: – Morning Bush walk – Night-time safari – Day trip to Maputo(Mozambique) – Tiger fishing on the Komati River – Bird watching – Visit to the African Cultural Village near the Swaziland border – Day excursion to the Panorama Route – Excursion to visit the Jane Goodall Chimpanzee Institute. These additional activities are included on the all-inclusive rate - additional cost per activity may apply on self-drive option - prices available on request.
