Maliba mountain lodge is a brand new exclusive 5 star lodge recently completed in a pristine high altitude sub alpine wilderness area within the Tselanyanne national park, Lesotho, Southern Africa. The luxury lodge offers a unique real African mountain experience that cannot be matched anywhere else in Africa.
A lot of plantation timber and natural organic materials have been used in construction and the fixtures and fittings and interior design will be of the highest standard.Guests have exclusive use of these very private suites during their stay at Maliba Mountain Lodge.
ROOM & SUITE TYPES:
Maliba Mountain Lodge is a brand new exclusive complex comprising 6 separate large luxury stone and thatched suites. Each exclusive unit is fully slab heated and comes with its own open fire place, large queen size bed with views into the mountains, luxury bathroom with a bathtub with a view to die for and meals /lounge area. Bifold doors open up to a large deck that cantilevers out over the indigenous forest.
FOOD & WINE:
3 meals per day will be included in the tariff. It will be freshly prepared by trained staff from fresh ingredients. It will be of the highest quality, presentation and taste. Meals will be one of the many highlights during your stay at Maliba. A full bar service with an extensive wines will be available. In room service, coffee bar and light snacks on demand will ensure your stay is a pleasurable experience.
FACILITIES:
The main lodge will feature: a Gourmet restaurant, bar and plenty of quite discrete areas to relax. It will also open out to a massive deck via retractable biflold doors to bring the feeling of the pristine outdoors right into the lodge.
ACTIVITIES:
As Maliba lodge is situated within a private leased area of Tsehlanyane National Park we have on our doorstep several secluded marked mountain bush trails & bridle paths for exploration. On going exploration continues into remoter parts of the park and further trials will be accessible over time.
Tsehlanyane National Park is blessed with an abundance of fresh clean water emanating from the pristine un-spoilt mountains. Many rock natural pools exist for swimming, exploring and relaxing by.
Plant species richness is very high within the park and provisional estimates are that in excess of 220 flowering plant species are present. Best time to view these is from spring to summer.
Of some 24 mammalian species recorded in the Highlands area many are resident (although elusive) within the park.
