The property has an unique location built on rocks above a huge rock pool and overlooks the endless blue expanse of the Indian Ocean. ROOM & SUITE TYPES: A four star hotel consisting of 52 seafacing en-suite rooms with private balconies, will offer you the most exhilarating views. Rooms are equipped with direct dial telephones, international plug points, TV with DSTV, ceiling fans, panel heaters, lock-up safes and internet access in every room. The Hotel is paraplegic friendly and all floors are serviced with a hydraulic lift and serviced by surveillance cameras. FOOD & WINE: Perched on the rocks on the edge of the Mossel Bay peninsula, just below the St Blaize lighthouse. The Point Hotel's Lighthouse Restaurant must surely have one of the most dramatic settings in the country. An A La Carte menu caters for all tastes, serving an assortment of cosmopolitan fare. Artifacts have been discovered that date back 80 000 years or more. The St Blaize Lighthouse(situated in very close proximity to The Point Hotel) was erected in 1864. To date it is one of only two lighthouses on the South African coastline manned 24hours daily. |
