The beautiful aqua blue pool is situated on the roof of the Kalahari Sands Hotel and Casino. Pool towels and sun loungers are available free of charge to guests. ROOM & SUITE TYPES: There are a total of 173 rooms (1 Presidential suite, 5 Suites, 16 Luxury Rooms, 151 Twin Rooms) which are decorated to blend into their earthy surroundings. The colour scheme is taken from the golden hues of the dunes and combined with the reddish tones of the bushman paintings. Room amenities include air-conditioning, bath, shower, 24 hour Room service, mini bars. FOOD & WINE: The Dunes is an informal restaurant offering an all day a la carte menu and a buffet carvery. The choices are sublime and only the freshest ingredients are used. The restaurant is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Overlooking Independence Avenue and located outside The Dunes Restaurant is The Terrace. An awning offers ample shade from the fierce desert sun and it is an ideal location to enjoy icy cocktails and refreshing cool drinks.
