Lake kariba lodges

Great Zimbabwe Ruins

The Great Zimbabwe Ruins, near Masvingo, is the largest and most significant ancient monument south of the Sahara. The towering "stone houses" are the remains of a city of 20 000 shona people. The grand concept is an eloquent testament to the advanced culture of its African builders.

Harare

Gonarezhou National Park

Gonarezhou means 'abode of elephant' in Shona. The Chipinda Pools in the north attract hundreds of migratory elephant and eland from adjacent Kruger National Park in South Africa.The Runde River runs through the park and the red sandstone Tjolotjo Cliffs

Eastern highlands
