The Kafue National Park will appeal to those who enjoy unspoilt wilderness and vast open spaces, for the Kafue is still relatively unknown and a stunning part of Zambia. The Kafue River and Busanga Plains are the highlights of this area and your stay here will be focussed on day and night game drives, walking safaris and boating trips. This is a perfect add-on to South Luangwa and Lower Zambezi safaris

DAY 1: KAFUE NATIONAL PARK
» Morning flight from Lusaka Airport (or Livingstone Airport) to the Kafue
» After lunch, the rest of the day will be spent on a game drive and perhaps on the river
» All meals and most drinks (excluding imported beverages)
» Includes local game-viewing activities. Generally three a day
» Accommodation: Lunga River Lodge

DAY 2,3: KAFUE NATIONAL PARK
» Morning transfer to Busanga Plains with game-viewing en route
» The following two days will be filled with day and night game drives
» All meals and most drinks (excluding imported beverages)
» Includes local game-viewing activities. Generally three a day
» Accommodation: Busanga Bush Camp

DAY 4,5: KAFUE NATIONAL PARK
» Morning activity, followed by brunch
» Afternoon transfer to Lunga with game-viewing en route
» The following two days will be filled with day and night game drives, walking safaris, fishing and boating
» All meals and most drinks (excluding imported beverages)
» Includes local game-viewing activities. Generally three a day
» Accommodation: Lunga River Lodge

DAY 6: DEPART
» Following a morning activity, fly to Lusaka Airport for your onward arrangements
