Western Cape Mountain BikeSAFARI HIGHLIGHTS:» A scenic Bicycle tour from Cape Town to Cape Town with comfortable Guest Lodge accommodation » Take in some breath-taking sights as we meander a circular tour from Cape Town to Hermanus and back » Stellenbosch, Franschhoek, Hermanus, Cape Point, Cape Town Departure: Scheduled Departure Dates Duration: 6 Days/ 5 Nights Price: From US $1 719.00 Currency Converter DAY 1: CAPE TOWN TO STELLENBOSCH » Today we'll bring you to the World famous Blouberg Strand to have a last look at Table Mountain for the next following days » After pictures have been taken we cycle through scenic countryside to the Cape's famous Wine region and old town Stellenbosch » After checking into our lodge we'll head out to see what the town has to offer » If you want, you can take part in one of the wine tastings » (Dinner) DAY 2: HELLSHOOGTE PASS - FRANSCHHOEK » Today we'll have about 45 km to cycle » The support vehicle will take anyone over steep hills and passes that would prefer that » After leaving Stellenbosch we cycle over Hellshoogte Pass into Franschhoek » En route we can enjoy another wine tasting if anyone likes » After the wine tasting we'll transfer the last few kilometers into Franschhoek » In the afternoon you can explore the quaint village of Franschhoek » (Breakfast and Dinner) DAY 3: HERMANUS » Today we'll have a longer driving day and leave the wine lands to head towards the coast » Our destination is Hermanus, in season one of the best places to spot whales » Once we've arrived we'll explore this little coastal town by bike » (Breakfast and Dinner) DAY 4: HERMANUS » Today we'll take you into a nature reserve outside of Hermanus » Here we can cycle the whole morning through forest roads and have lunch in the nature reserve (Fernkloof Nature Reserve) » The afternoon is free to enjoy Hermanus or take part in optional activities like Shark Cage Diving » (Breakfast) DAY 5: CAPE POINT NATURE RESERVE » Today we'll transfer you to the Cape Point Nature Reserve » The whole day is spent cycling along various roads and of course to the Cape Point, where you can leave your bicycles and walk to the Lighthouse » After having enjoyed this pristine environment we'll give you a lift back to Cape Town for a final night » (Breakfast and Dinner) DAY 6: CAPE TOWN » Today the tour ends in Cape Town The above Western Cape Mountain Bike rates are inclusive of: -» Professionally Escorted English-speaking bicycle guide » Accommodation Will be in Lodges and Guest houses of a mid Range Standard » Dining Inclusions Meals as per itinerary » Booking Conditions |
