Day 1: Johannesburg / Kruger National Park » We leave Johannesburg from the Rosebank Hotel at 07h00 and head north towards the vast wilderness of the Kruger National Park » After a short stop for tea we arrive at the safari hub of Hazyview, where you'll climb aboard open safari vehicles » Game sightings begin virtually as soon as we enter the reserve, which is home to the 'Big Five' as well as 147 species of mammals, reptiles and birds » Enjoy spotting them during an afternoon open safari vehicle drive, before returning to the rest camp for dinner and your first nights sleep in this famous patch of bushveld » Kruger Park Rest Camp » Dinner Day 2: Kruger National Park » A full day seeking out Kruger's creatures, big and small » They escape the full force of the African sun by retreating into dense bush, so the best game spotting opportunities are during game drives in the early morning and late afternoon » We follow the animal's example by taking a midday siesta!
