Customised, luxurious accommodation, commendable restaurants and bars and convenient conference facilites, make holiday memories and business a pleasure.

Superior Rooms are all individually decorated, encompassing all the beauty of the region and of Africa - from our exotic Moroccan themed hideaway, our cherubic and romantic honeymoon suite to our rooms depicting the floral splendour of the region, each visit will ensure a delightful, hospitable surprise.

FOOD & WINE:

Shiyokutsu Sushi and Teppanyaki bar; An intimate venue, seating 14, perfect for quiet dinners or private dining. Our sushi chef presents art on a plate - from traditional sushi fare, to personal creations using the freshest local ingredients. For the not-so-adventurous, the Teppanyaki grill will provide meals that tantalize and delight.

Settlers restaurant; provides a range of breakfasts and for dinner, offers traditional country fare. A delightful wine cellar contains a selection of the Cape's finest wines. Browse through the laden shelves at leisure before selecting the perfect accompaniment to savour and to relish.

Oak Tree Cafe; On a wooden deck overlooking the swimming pool, the Protea Garden and in the distance, the magnificent mountains, enjoy the varied menu of the Oak Tree café. Light and no-so-light lunches are served al fresco and refreshments are available all day.

FACILITIES:

Enjoy a drink in our Carriages pub, catching up with friends, quietly winding down after a day of business or travel, or sipping an aperitif before dinner . Our sparkling pool or a stroll around our indigenous, landscaped gardens might be what you need to wash away the day's weariness. If you prefer deep indulgence, book a massage treatment in the privacy of your room or simply sit in one of the perfectly placed gazebos in the garden and enjoy the silence of the mountainside.

ACTIVITIES:

The small town of George, just a short drive from the hotel, has many historical places you can visit, to appreciate the early days of this area's development. The Drostdy Housing, the George Museum and The Slave Tree are all favourites. Please visit reception where we retain a vast selection of brochures, outlining all the exciting alternatives which this area has to offer.
