Situated 72 kilometers north of Port Elizabeth, Shamwari a private game reserve on 20 000 ha of countryside steeped in history. SHAMWARI EAGLES CRAGG LODGE ROOM & SUITE TYPES: Eagles Cragg is nestled in a valley and provides the ultimate luxury for the most discerning of travelers. Each of the nine superior rooms have been built to maximize the privacy of the guest in the most tranquil of settings. The en-suite rooms boast a private deck with pool, as well as, indoor and outdoor showers. Decorated in light and contemporary colours, with wall-to-wall glass doors on two sides, these rooms provide stunning views of the surrounding cliffs. Rooms are fitted with telephones with direct dial access, underfloor heating and air conditioners. FOOD & WINE: Guests at Shamwari Eagles Crag Lodge can enjoy open air dining or savour delicious meals in the dining room. FACILITIES/ACTIVITIES: Shamwari Game Reserve has abundant wild life and The Big 5 are also to be found here. Game viewing is carried out in the morning and evening. An open Land Rover is used, so you can feel close to Nature. A Luxury Spa is available, where guests can awaken their senses and allow their bodies to be rejuvenated.
